Course FAQs
For each lesson, there is a Pretest and a Post-Test. Students are expected to achieve a score of 80% or better on the Post-Test.
Each lesson plan has a unique list of what students should be able to do upon completion of the coursework.
No. Because students learn at different paces, the lesson can be stretched out until you feel comfortable that they comprehend the topic.
The content can be used in Math, Econ, and ELA classes as there are a considerable number of key vocabulary terms.
No. In fact we encourage facilitators to incorporate real-world experiences, examples, and stories that relate to each topic.
No. As the facilitator, you can use as little or as much of the content as you choose.
Once your instructor adds you to a group, you will receive an email entitled “Your account is created on Launchpad Financial Literacy” from clientcare@launchpadfinancialliteracy.com including your login information.
While logged in the Launchpad Financial Literacy site:
- Click on “Course Dashboard”
- Click on “Edit Profile”
- Scroll down the page and click on “Set New Password”
- Enter your new password
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Update Profile” button
- Finally click on “Launchpad Financial Literacy” in the upper left-hand corner
After you add a student to a group, the student will receive 2 emails:
- An email entitled “Course Enrollment” from clientcare@launchpadfinancialliteracy.com including a link to the course
- An email entitled “Your account is created on Launchpad Financial Literacy” from clientcare@launchpadfinancialliteracy.com including their login information
This is a 2 step process:
- Part 1
- Log into the Launchpad Financial Literacy website
- At the top of the screen, click on the “Groups Dashboard” (Note: You will need to be a group leader in order to see this tab)
- Click on your group
- Find the student you wish to remove and click the “Remove” button
- Part 2
- Go to the “Contact” page of the website
- In the “Type of Inquiry” field, select “Remove Student(s) from Group”
- Enter the required information
- Click “Submit”
From here the Launchpad support team will receive your request and process from there.
To add a student to a group:
- Log into the Launchpad Financial Literacy website
- At the top of the screen, click on the “Groups Dashboard” (Note: You will need to be a group leader in order to see this tab)
- Click on your group
- Click “Enroll New User”
- Enter students First Name, Last Name, and Email address (Note: If you want to add more students, you can click “Add More Users” and enter their information)
- Click “Submit”
